What is raw honey?

It’s a pure, unfiltered and unpasteurized honey made by bees from the nectar of flowers. Most of the honey consumed today is processed honey that’s been heated and filtered since it was gathered from the hive. Unlike processed honey, raw honey does not get robbed of its incredible nutritional value and health powers

Does raw honey crystallize?

Yes - it does and this is a natural process that only happens with real honey. The honey that is prevalent in stores will not crystallize as it contains additives that are not natural to raw honey.

Can I heat up my raw honey to make it more fluid?

Yes you can heat your honey if it does began to crystallize. This will help liquify it. The honey should not be heated to hot or to fast. A gradual heating helps make the honey a little more spreadable.

How long does raw honey last?

Raw honey if stored correctly can last a very long time. Best practices are to keep moisture out of the honey by keeping the lid on the jar when not in use.
